IMPORTANT NOTICE. Entries for this year’s short story competition are coming in very slowly. If we do not get enough we may have to cancel the competition. Send your entries in now. Do not send entry fee until we confirm that we have enough entries for a viable competition. If we do not get enough, your entry may still be suitable for publication in our next Anthology, in which case we will discuss this with you when the time comes. The deadline for the competition (short stories 1500-2000words) remains at 31st Oct. But note that for the Anthology (for members of Folkestone Writers, annual subscription £10) stories of any length up tp 5000 words are allowed as well as poetry and non-fiction articles of local or topical interest. The publication date will depend on how long it takes to get enough suitable submissions for a full volume.
