FOLKESTONE WRITERS are running another competition this year, in connection with The Folkestone Book Festival, for stories of 1500 to 2000 words. No particular theme is specified but stories should appeal to an intelligent adult readership.
The winning stories and perhaps a dozen others, if suitable, will be published in The Folkestone 2020 Anthology (a) if the winners (or a nominated proxy) can turn up to receive their prizes and read their stories at a Fringe Event to be held on 20th Nov. at 3.00 p.m. at Sunflower House, 45 Foord Road, Folkestone; and (b) all selected authors agree to purchase two copies of the Anthology and will then receive a third copy free.
